SIMPSON'major investment at Hassacarr Close, Dunnington, where we carried out the remodelling and formation of five new commercial/industrial units, including the relocation of the SIMPSON Head Office, provide modern low carbon foot print units in the B1, B2 and B8 classification, and five B1 business units in a fourth new building.

 
   
Office units of 1250 sq. ft. and 1500 sq.ft. as well as a range of storage units in multiples of 1500 sq.ft. are available for sale or let.

SIMPSON has received a BREEAM 'very good' rating for their head office by incorporating the following principals 

  • 80% of our energy is from recyclable sources with a low carbon impact
  • Biomass boiler using waste wood from our own adjacent Joiners Shop (previously destined for land fill)
  • Photo voltaic roof panels to generate electricity to run our air conditioning systems
  • Briese soleil shading to windows
  • Rainwater harvesting for toilets, pumped from underground rainwater and storage tanks
  • Solar panels for domestic water heating
  • Re-use of salvaged materials and finishes
  • Sustainable drainage system
